When looking at Robert Flaherty and his documentary Nanook of the north, I learned how he used the Inuit people to act and live these lives like they would have without western support to capture a piece of history that was fading out of time and into history books. It showed me where you need to be careful ethically to make sure you're abiding by the rules.
